The people of
Kodagu, very special in all aspects, have always stood apart for their beauty,

the women of Kodagu are graceful and elegant. Coffee, the refreshing brew, is

'Kodava Hockey festival' is famous. The event commenced in 1997 with 50 odd

history, several rulers from the Pandya, the Ganga, the Chengalava the Chola, stehe Hoysala, the lkkeri (later
came to be known as Haleri in Kodagu) dynasties have ruled the district
